Apotheosis EP 104 screenshots released to celebrate Luo Zheng killing Cui Xie in season finale

With Apotheosis, Season 2 now ended, animation studio Qingxiang Culture has released some stills from the cultivation donghua’s final episode — Episode 104.
Those Episode 104 stills were released via Weibo, with Qingxiang Culture commenting in a celebratory tone:
Faced with a desperate situation, both companions and loved ones perish! Unable to change his thoughts, he gathers the power of all living beings!
Awakening the Heavenly Way, Luo Zheng delivers the final blow to Cui Xie! Season 2 concludes today!
And, if you are one of those people who already watched the final episode, you will know it was pretty much all we wanted and a helluva lot more.
After all, wasn’t it great to see all those older characters who haven’t appeared for a while, that final battle scene was incredible in both action and animation, the sound effects were as good as any Hollywood movie and, yep, Luo Zheng finally kills Cui Xie.
Thus giving us a satisfying end to Season 2 indeed.
No, the entire second season was not perfect (the animation quality waned in some of the final episodes) — although it was better than the mess that was Season 1 — but to have that kind of culmination to so many hours watched, at least made most of it seem worthwhile.

Apotheosis details
The Chinese martial arts animated series is produced by both YOUKU and Ranzai Studio.
Like Season 1, the second season of Apotheosis (aka Bai Lian Cheng Shen) is animated by the previously mentioned studio Qingxiang Culture, with its 52-episodes kicking off on December 8th, 2023 and airing/streaming until November 28th, 2024.
And, yes, Season 3 has already been announced, but not with any premiere date as of yet.
