The production committee of upcoming isekai anime I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime has released a new character video.
This time, it is a Duke Seeker character video that proves the show is definitely a romance anime as he goes overboard in his protection of protagonist Alicia Williams.
Even if she is several years younger than him.
(And yep, I love a good age gap anime. Sue me!).
The Duke Seeker character video also features the voice of Japanese voice actor Kaito Ishikawa, who is well-known for playing such iconic roles as Naofumi in The Rising of the Shield Hero, Kiyoka in My Happy Marriage, Lance in Mashle and Tobio in Haikyu!!
He is also voicing protagonist Hagu in the currently ongoing anime series Quality Assurance in Another World.

The I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime adaptation is based on the light novels written by Izumi Ookido and illustrated by Jun Hayase.
The series currently has six volumes out in Japan, with a manga adaptation also being published.
Its plot goes something like this:
I hated the “nice girl” comments that heroines tend to make, then I was reincarnated as Alicia, the villainess in my favourite girl’s game. Apparently, I’ve been reincarnated to fulfil my wish to become the world’s most evil girl, and I’m going to leave my mark on history! To do that, I have to be strong and smart!
But, despite all her efforts, the harder she tries as a villainess, the more the people around her react in unexpected ways. …… Will Alicia really become the bad girl who will go down in history⁉
The I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime is being directed by Yuuji Yanase (In The Land of Leadale), with Sawako Hirabayashi (Delicious Party Pretty Cure), and Eri Kojima (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1) and Yuuko Watabe (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp) designing the characters.
Maho Film is the studio animating.
The I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History anime premieres on October 1st in Japan, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime series soon after.
