The ongoing Chinese action adventure donghua Tales of Herding Gods has turned out to be an even bigger hit than we first told you when we reported earlier in the year that it had already hit 200 million views on Bilibili alone.
That’s because, this week, Chinese animation studio Sparkly Key has just announced Tales of Herding Gods has now earned more than 300 million views.
That also means another 100 million views have been added to its total in just over a month’s time. Not bad, eh? Especially when we are still several weeks away from Season 1 ending.
Along with releasing a celebratory visual for the donghua’s latest milestone on their official Weibo account, the animation studio also commented about their donghua’s latest achievement:

Release details for Tales of Herding Gods
The Sparkly Key-animated and Bilibili-produced animated series officially premiered on October 27th, 2024 and just recently released its 19th episode for subscribers on Bilibili’s English-language streaming platform. (Watch that episode’s trailer down below)
Since its release, viewers have been commenting about its stunning art style, beautifully designed character models, in-depth and unique world-building, and its solid plot.

The Tales of Herding Gods’ first season is currently scheduled to release a total of 26 episodes so, with Episode 19 just coming out this week, we are (sadly) rapidly heading towards the donghua’s season finale.
