Momentary Lily character video of all 6 main characters now out alongside cute new visual

After the original GoHands anime Momentary Lily has been introducing its main characters in dribs and drabs over the last few months, it looks like we might finally have the entire character list in our hands.
At least if today’s release of a Momentary Lily character trailer featuring all six main characters, alongside a special illustration of the six wishing “Peace” on their viewers is anything to go by.
And yes, the latest video release comprises the six short character videos that have been being released on the Momentary Lily anime’s X account.
Those six characters, by the way, are:
- Yuri Kawatsu who is voiced by Natsuko Abe (Chika in Kamierabi)
- Hinageshi Usuzumi played by Shiori Wakayama (Lemon in Makeine)
- Ayame Sakuya voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro (Kimura in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night)
- Renge Kasumi who is voiced by Manatsu Murakami (Komichi in Akebi’s Sailor Uniform)
- Erika Koudaiji played by Tsugumi Sakuragi (in her first anime role)
- Sazanka Yoshino voiced by Misaki Kuno (Alicerette in The Ossan Newbie Adventurer)
That cute illustration can now join the main key visual released recently, and also including all six girls – but this time enjoying a well-deserved break. (see below)
What is Momentary Lily?
There is still a lot of secrecy surrounding the anime or, at least information that has not yet been released.
What we do know about the upcoming Momentary Lily anime is it is being chief directed by Shingo Suzuki (director of the K series) who is also in charge of the character designs.
Both Susumu Kudou and Katsumasa Yokomine, who were also co-directors of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, will be directing.
Tamazo Yanagi (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today) is writing the anime’s scripts.
As for the anime’s plot, My Anime List describes it like this:
Following the daily lives of High School girls surviving in a world ravaged by otherworldly invaders.
Cooking together, battling mechanical monstrosities with their iconic weapons, and uncovering the secrets of their mysterious past and world, all of these moments and more will appear in GoHand’s unmatched visual style!
Yuri Kawazu, Erika Koudaiji, Hinageshi Usuzumi, Renge Kasumi, Sazanka Yoshino, and Ayame Sakuya know only each other and a world that’s been torn apart by mysterious mechanical creatures.
That’s not going to stop them from making the most of their lives together, though! Equal parts slice-of-life and slick action, Momentary Lily will entice and entertain with its entirely distinct story and visuals.
The anime itself is due to premiere in January, 2025, with no information yet on where it will stream outside Japan but likely Crunchyroll.
