I still remember the exact moment Season 1 of fantasy anime Farming Life in Another World hooked me.
It was that perfect blend of overpowered-yet-humble isekai protagonist, zero dangerous stakes, and endless shots of Hiraku tilling soil and growing crops while his ever-expanding village of fantasy races cheered him on.
This week, when Farming Life in Another World, Season 2 quietly released its first episode, I was already parked on my couch with snacks ready.
And now, with the creditless OP and ED dropping just a few days later, I can luxuriate in that warm, happy and completely chill feeling even more.
Creditless Farming Life in Another World, Season 2 OP – “It’s a Beautiful Story,” by Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki
Let me be clear, I am not the type to lose my mind over theme songs.
After all, many anime openings feel like marketing jingles with their flashy, but forgettable graphics that, half the time, seem to be designed to achieve nothing but sell merch.
But you can tell Season 2 OP “It’s a Beautiful Story,” which is performed by Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki (the voice actresses for Rurushi Ru and Tia), was actually written to promote the entire feel of this wonderful anime series — relaxing, fun, feelgood and decidedly upbeat.
And while I love the OP animation as it plays in new episodes, the creditless version is even better as it lets you soak in every frame even more without the usual text clutter.
And, yep, it’s pure comfort food.
A lively melody and happy-sounding vocals, and animation that introduces some of the different races who now call Hiraku’s farm “Home”.
It’s not trying to hype you up for battles that will never come; it’s inviting you to breathe easy and watch carrots grow. And yep, that’s the kind of isekai I signed up for. Didn’t you?
Creditless Farming Life in Another World, Season 2 ED – “Sunny Steps” by Yui Hizuki.
Then there’s the ending, “Sunny Steps” by Yui Hizuki.
She handled the ED for Season 1 too, and returning her for Season 2 was a genius move.
The creditless cut is even more soothing as it’s the “chibi version” of lazy afternoon clouds floating by as friends join together to create a better life, as village kids run around, and those signature wide shots of fields, chibi-fied, make you want to quit your job and start a homestead.

It’s the musical equivalent of a warm blanket. No high-energy choruses, no dramatic key changes, just pure slice-of-life serenity that matches the show’s “farming is the real power fantasy” energy perfectly.
What really gets me, though, is how these creditless videos feel like a love letter to the fans who have been waiting since 2023 for the story to continue.
Animation studio Zero-G didn’t need to drop them this early in the season, but they did, and the Pony Canyon YouTube channel already has them up for anyone to loop on repeat.
It’s such a small gesture, yet it screams confidence in the product. They know we’re here for the vibes, not explosions.
And honestly? I respect that.
In a sea of isekai that keep trying to one-up each other with truck-kun body counts or harem sizes, Farming Life in Another World Season 2 is doubling down on the thing that made it special: peace and tranquility.
And that’s why I have already watched the creditless OP three times today while making coffee, and I’m not even sorry.
It captures everything I adore about this franchise.
The slow cultivation of land and friendships, the way every new resident (vampires, elves, beastmen, you name it) just slots into Hiraku’s chill utopia like they were always meant to be there.
If the rest of Season 2 of Farming Life in Another World maintains this energy then, we’re already looking at my go-to comfort anime for the year.
Hiraku’s farm is thriving, the music is hitting different, and I, for one, am fully invested in whatever crop he plants next. This is peak cozy isekai, and I’m here for every single sunny step.
Farming Life in Another World, Season 2 (and Season 1) is now streaming on HIDIVE. Enjoy its creditless OP and ED animations, as they are so super sweet.

Hahahaha love your cutesy post, and agree with you the Farming Life in Another World Season 2 openings are just so damned sweet.
I’m with you on the anime as well. It’s one I didn’t think I’d enjoy as being isekai-ed and then spending your life farming instead of killing dungeon monsters or fighting a demon lord sounded boring as hell, but it’s not.
I love that it’s a harem too but an innocent harem. LOL. Thanks. Enjoyed the post, and like you I’m all in for every episode of Season 2 of Hiraku and his girls. Grow them tomatoes!!! 🙂
