Spy x Sect screenshots EPs 46 and 47 herald Season 1 finale – Chen Ning and his girls go barbecuing

With the first season of the new Suoyi Technology donghua Spy x Sect (aka Zongmen Li Chule Wo Dou Shi Wodi) coming to an end with Episode 48, the Chinese animation studio has released nine screenshots from Episodes 46 and 47.
Those Spy x Sect screenshos have protagonist Chen Ning out in the woods with “his girls” enjoying a barbecue.
Of course, as always, the girls are competing against each other to see who can possibly be the clingiest. Including his AI assistant, Jiang Que.
Other screenshots show Chen Ning saving one of his girls from disaster, while another has him back at his sect asking the members to take care of all the treasures he has taken from rival sects.
The animation studio also left a short and simple comment along with the stills:

The season finale of Spy x Sect
Spy x Sect (aka 宗门里除了我都是卧底) is a fantasy cultivation donghua that is based on a popular Chinese web novel.
The Suoyi Technology-animated adaptation premiered on October 14th, 2024, updated every Thursday and Sunday with new episodes, and is due to end its Season 1 run with Episode 48 on March 9th.
If it is anything like the similar Suoyi Technology series 100,000 Years of Qi Refining, which is now well past its 215th episode, it is also very likely we will be getting a second season of Spy x Sect soon.
Fingers crossed, as each episode is a quick-watch 7 minutes long, and they’re very entertaining.
The Spy x Sect plot goes something like this:
Spy x Sect revolves around a young man who finds himself transmigrated into a cultivation world as the sole legitimate disciple of a powerful sect. However, he soon discovers that everyone else in the sect—seniors, juniors, and even the elders—are undercover spies from rival factions.
Unbeknownst to them as well, the protagonist is the only “real” disciple, which leaves him with a little dilemma.
But, using his intelligence, he decides to outsmart the spies, and maintain his position while uncovering the secrets of the sect.
The donghua blends comedy, action, and intrigue in a unique cultivation setting.
Season 1 of Spy x Sect streams on Bilbili — both on its streaming platform, and on its YouTube channel (although, on that channel, episodes are usually a week behind).
