Which Chinese actor voices San Lang (aka Hua Cheng) in Heaven Official’s Blessing (Tian Guan Cifu)?

Following on from my article yesterday looking at the two actors who voice Heaven Official’s Blessing‘s Xie Lian in the Chinese donghua, today I’m looking at the actor who voices San Lang (aka Hua Cheng) in the same animated series.
Unlike the voicing of Xie Lian, which required a different actor in the two seasons (likely due to the incredibly busy voice actor from the first series not being available to voice the same character in the second), San Lang was voiced by the same Chinese actor for both seasons and the OVA.
Who is that actor, and what other donghua has he starred in before?
San Lang’s voice actor has starred in a number of very successful donghua
The Chinese VA who played San Lang is a still relatively young actor, but one who has already played several important parts.
His name is Ma Zhengyang (aka 马 正阳) and, along with voicing San Lang in every Heaven Official’s Blessing episode so far (and pray we eventually get Season 3), if you have watched a fair number of donghua, you will likely have heard him in at least one of them.
Ma Zhengyang, by the way, was born in Luoyang, Henan, China on May 22nd, 1992, which currently makes him 32-years-old.
He gave a short interview about playing San Lang back in 2021, and one of the things he said was how he was first struck by how calm the character was:
“My first thought was about his calmness. San Lang is omniscient (ie: has infinite awareness like a God), and at the same time so mysterious. But I don’t think he intentionally hid anything in front of His Highness (Xie Lian), and so was always himself with him. That’s because he felt like, no matter how he tried to hide something, His Highness would always see it……
He has also always been like a tour guide to Xie Lian, as he knows everything and can tell a lot of backstories about anyone”.
