Fans of isekai and royal romance, get ready — The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom anime is officially coming to TV!
A brand-new teaser trailer dropped today for the anime, giving viewers a first glimpse of the charming fantasy ahead.
The anime adaptation itself is set to premiere in Japan in January 2026.
The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom light novel
The story originates from the hit light novel series by Puni-chan, first released on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website back in March 2016.
Since then, it’s grown into a beloved franchise, with Enterbrain publishing the print edition under the B’s Log Bunko label.
The series, titled Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru in Japan, features delightful illustrations by Akeno Naruse and currently boasts 14 volumes in Japanese.

Bringing the tale to life on screen is Studio Deen (Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii), with Takayuki Hamana (The Witch and the Beast) in the director’s chair.
Yoshimi Narita (Captivated, By You) handles the series composition, while Majiro (Ryman’s Club) lends their touch to the elegant character designs.
The story follows Tiararose Lapis Clementille, a Japanese woman who finds herself reincarnated into the world of her favorite otome game, Lapis Lazuli Ring. There’s just one small hitch — she’s been reborn as the villainess!
But fate takes an unexpected turn when the crown prince of a neighboring kingdom sweeps her off her feet with a surprise proposal.
With royal romance, magical intrigue, and a heroine determined to rewrite her destiny, this upcoming adaptation promises plenty of heart and sparkle for fans of the genre!
