The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei anime adaptation announced with cute visual

Just in case you missed this anime news when it came out a couple of days ago, (sorry, we did, because….traveling) – supernatural mystery series The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries has just been given the greenlight for an anime adaptation.
Yay, freaking yay, as this one looks amazing.
The details we have on the new The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei anime series so far are these:
- Director: Chihiro Kumano (Episode Director Kaiju No. 8, and Unnamed Memory)
- Scripts: Atsushi Oka (Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World), who is also serving as animation supervisor.
- Character Designs: Masahiko Suzuki (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs)
- Animation Studio: 100studio (Quality Assurance in Another World and Days with my Stepsister)
- Release date: Some time in 2025.
The first The Mononoke Lecture Logs visual has also been released, featuring Chuzenji-sensei and his high school student assistant Kanna Kusakabe.
The Mononoke Lecture Logs manga and Rozen Kreuz novels details
The anime is based on the manga-spinoff of the Rozen Kreuz novels created by Aki Shimizu.
The novels are written by renowned Japanese mystery writer Natsuhiko Kyogoku, who has to be one of the most prolific and most detail-oriented and quality-obsessed writers in Japan (Good for him!).
The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei (aka 中禅寺先生物怪講義録 先生が謎を解いてしまうから。in Japanese) manga series is serialized by Kodansha via their Comic Days manga magazine.

Our setting is in Tokyo in 1948, just right after the war. Kanna Kusakabe had just become a second-year at a high school when she meets the new language teacher, Akihiko Chuzenji. Mysterious supernatural things keep happening around Kanna. Once again today, Kanna is going to open the doors to the library prep room to seek help from the surly Chuzenji-sensei who is waiting inside.
A high school supernatural mystery featuring the unlikely duo between a teacher and a high school girl is about to begin!
