The Apothecary Diaries October ‘seasonal plant’ visual has Jinshi watching on as hot boys Basen and Lihaku train
Along with all that fabulous news about the next season of The Apothecary Diaries anime series (and full-length film), today is also the day for the next in the Maomao, Jinshi, and the Four Seasons visual series.
And, this month, we got a very cool (and pretty darn sexy!) visual of bare-chested Basan and Lihaku training with swords, while the equally handsome Jinshi looks on admiringly as one of the two men appears to be winning. (Update: Sweet November visual of Lishu and Ah Duo enjoying mother and daughter time drops)
The Apothecary Diaries‘ Sweet Osmanthus visual
As usual, this month’s visual centers around a particular “seasonal plant”, with October’s illustration featuring the sweet osmanthus (aka sweet olive) Jinshi is standing under.
Of course, there’s not too much point oggling over any of these incredibly good looking men, now is there?
After all, Jinshi’s heart belongs to Maomao alone, while Gaoshun’s second son, Basen, is just about to fall in love with someone we all already know (you’ll have to wait for Season 3).
As for Lihaku, he’s so obsessed with courtesan Pairin — the eldest of The Three Princesses at the Verdigris House – the only thing he uses his money for is saving up to buy her out of her contract. Then, he plans on marrying her.
Enjoy the hot bods and nice abs though, eh?
Where to watch The Apothecary Diaries anime
The smash-hit anime, which is loved by viewers so much it is currently #20 (Season 2) and #27 (Season 1) on My Anime List’s enormous list of Top Anime of all-time (an amazing feat considering there are over 25,000 anime on it) is currently streaming all 48 episodes on Crunchyroll.
Season 1 is also available on Netflix, although that platform has yet to license Season 2. Fingers crossed that will happen soon.
