Shengying Animation information
Beijing-based animation studio Shengying Animation, also known as Beijing Shengying Animation Technology Co., Ltd. (北京声影动漫科技有限公司; 声影) was founded in mid-2014, although company officials began laying the ground work for overseas production capacity and the development of its animation technology as far back as 2008.
Since then, it has quickly become a studio that is involved in a number of high-quality animated works.
The studio runs several hundred production teams that take care of every facet of animation creation, collaborates with more than 50 Chinese companies, and also works with many companies outside China that help facilitate its donghua production.
This has also helped the studio get its shows in front of international audiences.
Shengying Animation uses both 2D and 3D technology in its projects, and adapts its donghua not only from novels, but also from video games, comics and toys.
And, of course, its own original IPs.
A large percentage of its projects are also multi-season donghua series.
