Perfect World, Episode 203 screenshots – Shi Hao in crisis as The Ancient Immortal Rift opens

Chinese animation studio Foch Film is giving fans a heads up about the plot of the latest episode of their most popular donghua — Perfect World, Episode 203 — via new screenshots they have just released on Weibo.
The four new Perfect World, Episode 203 screenshots feature the Chinese anime’s protagonist Shi Hao, along with the comment:
#PerfectWorld Episode 203: The Ancient Immortal Rift has fully opened, and Shi Hao is about to face a severe crisis. More exciting content is now airing!
The four screenshots show Shi Hao in various beautiful shots, both before and after the rift opens. (see above and below)
Shots that prove, yet again, one of the reasons why Perfect World (aka Wanmei Shijie) has been such a massive hit for Foch Film as, Ye Gods, the studio has done an incredible job with the donghua’s gorgeous character and background designs.
With the long-running animated series heading closer towards its end (a total of 234 episodes are currently scheduled), it is also now interesting to rewatch its first few episodes and realize, while they were stunning at the time, the work Foch Film is releasing now is even better.
Perfect World details
With Perfect World, Episode 203 hitting streaming services this week in China, that means there are at least 31 episodes left to air — so more than half a year of pure fabulousness.
The donghua itself first premiered on April 23rd, 2021, and has since also spawned a full-length film, which came out in September, 2024.
Foch Film has been animating the series since the beginning, with Tencent Penguin Pictures producing.
Every episode of Perfect World is easily available to watch via Tencent’s WeTV streaming service, who currently has the first 192 episodes available to non-subscribers.
WeTV also streams the film (oddly, in three episodes), but, sadly, none of its episodes are available to VIP subscribers, and each of its episodes has to be rented separately.
Disappointing that WeTV is perpetrating such a shameless cash grab from fans, really.
