While fans eagerly await the arrival of Sakamoto Days, Season 2, the production team at TMS Entertainment continues to treat audiences to a charming monthly tradition: the “Seasonal Visuals” campaign.
Today, the series unveiled its third installment, a cute new illustration and accompanying mini audio drama themed around the June rainy season .
This latest release offers a refreshing departure from the series’ trademark high-octane action, instead focusing on a quiet, tender moment between two of the most formidable members of The Order.
A Rainy Day Duo: Shishiba and Osaragi Take the Spotlight
Following April’s April Fools’ entry and May’s Golden Week edition, the June “Rainy Season” visual centers on the stoic Shishiba and the powerful, but often-expressionless Osaragi.
The artwork depicts the pair on a rain-drenched city street, surrounded by vibrant hydrangeas in full bloom.
In the scene, Shishiba can be seen holding an umbrella over a drenched Osaragi, who is crouched down to play with a small stray cat. The contrast is striking as Osaragi, typically a force of destruction in the main storyline, appears soft and distracted by the animal, seemingly unbothered by the downpour.
Shishiba, for his part, looks on as he dutifully provides shelter, highlighting an understated warmth in the pair’s dynamic.
More Than Just a Picture: The Sakamoto Days June Mini Audio Drama
True to the campaign’s promise, the visual is accompanied by a short, exclusive audio drama performed by the voice actors.
In it, the mini-drama expands on the illustration’s premise, explaining that Osaragi ventured out into the rain specifically to search for the cat she spotted.

The dialogue leans into their well-established chemistry (hit YouTube’s auto-translate feature if you don’t speak Japanese), with Shishiba asking why she is out in the rain, and Osaragi responding she went searching for the lost cat. Shisihiba responds she looks like she is the lost one herself.
Osaragi then says she wants to adopt the cat, but Shishiba advises against it saying it will be a lot of work, while Osaragi remains stubbornly fixated on the creature.
Ultimately, the cat runs off, leaving the two assassins to seek shelter and food at a nearby shop. It is a cute slice-of-life moment rarely seen in the manga’s current high-stakes narrative, which is approaching its final arc.
Why These Latest Sakamoto Days Visuals Matter
For fans of Yuto Suzuki’s original manga, these monthly updates are a welcome treat.
While the anime’s second season is confirmed to be in production (following the two-cour first season that aired in 2025), a specific release date has not yet been announced .
These “Seasonal Visuals” serve a dual purpose: they maintain audience engagement during the production hiatus and allow the creative team to explore character dynamics that the action-heavy plot rarely has time to develop.
Seeing The Order — the elite hitman squad usually tasked with eliminating threats — relax (or at least tolerate) a rainy afternoon with a stray cat provides a humanizing layer to these deadly warriors.
