More The Holy Grail of Eris character art drops
New supernatural mystery anime The Holy Grail of Eris has been releasing character art for a few weeks now, with the latest release dropping today for crown princess Cecilia Adelbide.
Now, Cecilia is a strange one as she initially seems friendly but there is something about her personality you may not want to trust.
Especially when you know she is from the powerful Adelbides. A family who are deeply involved in the conspiracy that is at the center of the anime’s plot.
Cecilia Adelbide’s character art, however, shows the pretty blonde girl looking both meek and sweet. Just like butter wouldn’t melt in her innocent mouth.

Cecilia is being voiced by Maaya Uchida, who is known for such roles as Rikka in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Rui in Domestic Girlfriend, Angel in Chainsaw Man, Sharon in Is the Order a Rabbit??, and Liliruca in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, among many many others.
The Holy Grail of Eris premiere date
The fantasy anime is scheduled to officially premiere in Japan on January 8th for a currently unknown number of episodes.
The series is based on the popular light novels written by Kujira Tokiwa and illustrated by artist Yu-nagi.
It is being directed by Morita to Jumpei (yep, that’s one person and he’s also the director of the 2016 fantasy anime Lost Song), with Kenichi Yamashita (A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) in charge of script and series composition, and Chie Kawaguchi designing the characters.
Ashi Productions (animators of The Tale of Outcasts) is animating.
The official The Holy Grail of Eris trailer was released almost half a year ago and, yep, this one looks deep and dark.
