Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe drops Mizuka Tsurumaki and Ouka Kawasumi visual – the circus’ top artists

Mizuka Tsurumaki and Ouka Kawasumi character visual shows off anime’s gorgeous art style
While there is not much information out yet about upcoming original anime Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe, its art style at least is absolutely gorgeous.
That’s something you can see in the just-released first character pair visual, which came out on the anime’s official X account today, and features what they call a “character design draft” for Mizuka Tsurumaki and Ouka Kawasumi
Along with the very cute visual, the account also gave hints about the two characters’ personalities and their goals, with comments attributed to both girls:
” Forging my own path, the circus genius ” Mizuka Tsurumaki
” Chasing legends, the star of the trapeze ” Ouka Kawasumi
A character reveal video for Mizuka Tsurumaki and Ouka Kawasumi was also released on Aniplex’s YouTube channel, although all the video features is a camera panning over the visual. Meh, right?
What we know about Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe so far
Like I said, the production details for the Grow Up Show: Sunflower Circus Troupe anime (aka Grow Up Show: Himawari no Circus-dan) are sparse at the moment.
We do know it is being directed by Kanta Kamei (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend), and animated by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online) and their internal label Psyde Kick Studio.
Kurehito Misaki (22/7) is designing the original characters, and if they all turn out to be this pretty, the anime could be a big standout.
The person in charge of series composition and scripts is Takeshi Kikuchi and, as I liked his Skeleton Knight in Another World, I’ll definitely be giving this one a go when it drops.
Let’s see what other promo pieces drop in the next few months then to see what the rest of Grow Up Show looks like — the anime is scheduled to premiere in 2026, by the way.
