Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I’m a Reincarnator’s Origin character video proves Ellen takes after her mother

This week, what has already quickly turned into one of my favorite fantasy anime series of the Autumn, 2025 season, Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I’m a Reincarnator, is dropping character videos as its second episode releases.
First, we got daughter Ellen the reincarnator’s video trailer, followed by yesterday’s video for Rovel, the Vankreift family’s crazy dad and the hero of the fantasy world.
And today, we complete the trio, with mom Origin’s character video being released.
Not just any mom, though, as Origin is also Goddess of creation and Queen of Spirits.
Of course, it’s Rovel, her obsessively loving husband who introduces Origin in her character video, followed by Origin herself proving she is equally infatuated with Rovel.
At the same time, while she obviously adores her daughter just as much as Rovel does, she is also just as manipulative with Ellen as Ellen is with her father.
Guess we know who Ellen takes after then, don’t we?
Origin is voiced by the wonderful Mai Nakahara (Byakuya in The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies).

Meanwhile, the J.C. Staff-animated Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I’m a Reincarnator is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The anime’s second episode premiered this weekend.
