Sharefun Studio details
While not one of the major Chinese animation studios, at least yet, the Guangzhou City-based Sharefun Studio has already had incredible success with the one donghua property it is currently creating.
That donghua series, of course, is Scissor Seven (aka Cike Wu Liuqi) — a comedy, action, adventure, sci-fi, mystery series (yes, it covers all the genres), that became a huge international hit when it was licensed for streaming by Netflix.
Various seasons of the IP, which is directed by He Xiaofeng, have also been released for streaming on iQIYI, YOUKU, Tencent Video and Bilibili in some regions.
Since its initial premiere back in 2018, Sharefun Studio has now animated and released six series in the franchise. The series was also nominated for an award at the 2018 Annecy International Animated Film Festival.

Whether it is the best thing to do for an animation studio to concentrate on only one franchise, time will tell.
But, there is no denying, this particular franchise has definitely put Sharefun Studio on the map.
The first four seasons of the Scissor Seven series are currently streaming on Netflix.
