Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Suru Koto ni Natta anime announced with cute visual of Akane in a wedding dress

The popular romantic comedy light novel series Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Suru Koto ni Natta is getting an official anime adaptation.
The announcement came earlier today, alongside the anime’s first teaser visual featuring protagonist Akane Sakuramori.
The girl who is high school student Saito Houjo’s biggest rival, someone who he absolutely despises and, oddly, a girl he just married.
But, as Saito reminds Akane, don’t tell anyone at school that we are married, or I will have to kill you.
Of course, in the new visual, Akane is behaving just as Akane always does.
Will their marriage always be like this, or can they learn to understand and care about each other?
Called クラスの大嫌いな女子と結婚することになった。 or I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class in Japanese, the light novels, written by Seiju Amano and illustrated by Narumi-Nanami, have also spawned a hit manga adaptation in Japan.
Not much information about the upcoming rom-com anime has been released as yet, but we do know voice actress Hinaki Yano (Sara in the just-ended A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) has been cast as Akane.
Studios Gokumi and AXsiZ are also reportedly animating.
