I am always up for a new Boys’ Love manga, and the cover art for the upcoming Training Mister Sakurada manga makes it appear this one could be stellar.
After all, a good BL manga cannot only have an interesting plot, it must also feature art work that engages you.
All I can say is the Training Mister Sakurada cover art alone does that in spades, eh?
The upcoming Training Mister Sakurada manga is written and illustrated by Kaya Azuma, and has just been licensed for publication in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Seven Seas describes the manga plot like this:
Sakurada Hajime is thirsty—for a girlfriend and a good time. He can’t get enough of women, even though they have been steadily losing interest in him since the playboy days of his 20s.
The new junior in his department, Mibu Seiichiro, is hogging all the babes and the promotions, and worse, he’s such a great guy, Sakurada can’t even begrudge the man’s success.
But when Sakurada awakens in a love hotel, all tied up, it’s Mibu who strolls through the door. He’s got a shocking revelation and plans to ruin Sakurada’s whole week with a marathon of strange play and revenge!
What is Sakurada to do, especially once he notices he is beginning to enjoy it?
Like many BL manga, Training Mister Sakurada is a single-volume manga, which I must admit are generally my favorites as there is no need to invest in a huge number of volumes just to find out how it ends.
Seven Seas will be offering it in both print editions and digital, with its planned publication set for November, 2023.
