The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! anime (aka Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai! in Japan) got another trailer today, and it is very cute and quite funny.
The trailer features The Great Jahy coming to terms with living in a cheap one-room apartment in the human world and working for a living, and boy does she throw a good temper tantrum.
The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! anime series is based on the comedy manga by Wakame Konbu.
It is serialized in the Monthly Gangan Joker magazine, with Square Enix currently publishing the manga’s English version.
The series is being directed by Mirai Minato (BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense), with Michiko Yokote (Ao-chan Can’t Study!) overseeing scripts.
Saori Nakashiki (Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1) has been hired as both chief animation director and character designer.
The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! premieres in Japan on July 31st.
The anime will stream on Crunchyroll in the west around the same time.
