Michelle Topham The latest episode of the ongoing Suoyi Technology-animated donghua Spy x Sect (aka Zongmen Li Chule Wo Dou Shi Wodi) is now out via Bilibili and, just like the previous 12 episodes, it is a heckuva lot of fun.
In Spy x Sect, Episode 13, “There Comes a Windfall“, Chen Ning gets involved in yet another problem as he sees a dancer having her legs broken by a local bully.
Sure, the guy has been hired by one of the town’s big wigs, but he’s still a bully. As, apparently, is his boss.
And, of course, like you might expect, Chen Ning isn’t about to let things continue. Not when he might be able to help the dancer while helping himself.
The Spy x Sect plot
The Spy x Sect donghua follows protagonist Chen Ning who, after attempting to destroy the AI-system that is running the world he lives in, is killed and then reincarnated in another world.
This time as the newly put-into-place head of a sect that, within minutes, he realizes has been completely infiltrated by the Demon Sect leaving him the only person who is an actual member of the original sect.
Just as things might get bad for him again, however, Chen Ning suddenly learns while he might be in a new world, and one that looks like a traditional martial arts realm, it is still AI-run and he has been put there by the AI to make things better.
That job also comes with a cute AI-operated assistant who quickly helps Chen Ning become one of the most powerful people in his new world.
