May I Ask for One Final Thing’s Scarlet El Vandimion character video – she enjoys a bit of violence
It is still quite a ways before the comedy romance anime May I Ask For One Final Thing? drops but, with the release of a Scarlet El Vandimion character video this weekend, it looks like promo for the anime is starting to kick off.
Scarlet El Vandimion, of course, is the anime’s protagonist — the woman who was engaged to second prince, Kyle von Pallistan. Until, that is, he breaks off the engagement, after treating her horribly throughout all of it.
Not being a woman to let things get her down, however, Scarlet responds with the thing she knows how to do best — beat, maim and kill anyone who threatens to make her life even worse.
In the Scarlet El Vandimion character video, we get a glimpse of that blood thirstiness. And nope, Scarlet doesn’t feel guilty about it at all.
After all, during childhood, her nickname was ‘Mad Dog Princess’, and now we know why.
Asami Seto (Raphtalia in The Rising of the Shield Hero) voices Scarlet.
May I Ask For One Final Thing? production details
The upcoming fantasy anime is based on the light novel series written by Nana Ootori and illustrated by Satsuki, and its manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki .
Kazuya Sakamoto (Kaginado) is directing the anime, with Deko Akao (The Unaware Atelier Meister) in charge of series composition, and Eriko Haga (Kaginado) designing the characters.
LIDEN FILMS (Bye Bye, Earth) is in animating the series.

As for the May I Ask For One Final Thing? plot, Volume 1 of the original Japanese release describes its plot in this way:
In the middle of a ball, Scarlett’s engagement to the second prince, Kyle, is suddenly broken off. On top of that, she is falsely accused of a crime, labelled as a villainous lady, and is denounced by many nobles.
She has been patient up until now, but she has had enough of being manipulated by the foolish Kyle! Finally, she reaches her limit and makes a request. – “Can I blow your mind away before I do?”
And so, Scarlett decides to punish Kyle and the nobles around him with her fists…
Brilliant, brutal and thorough – is the ultimate “serves you right” story about to begin? A delightful villainous lady fantasy!
Look out for the first episode of May I Ask For One Final Thing? dropping in October. Yep, I told you it was a ways away, didn’t it?
