Legends of the Eternal Puppet Plot (Synopsis via YOUKU)

This is a world where mechanisms and mechanists exist, and the greatest mechanist is revered by all as the “Yanshi.”

Five hundred years ago, Luo Qingcheng, the first Yanshi and ruler of the Tianluo Kingdom, created the legendary perfect puppet. This creation not only brought boundless power but also sowed the seeds of a cataclysmic disaster.

The Tianluo Kingdom crumbled under years of relentless warfare, and the perfect puppet was reduced to ruins, becoming a mere legend. All that remained was the “Yanshi’s Heart Method,” a tome detailing the secrets of mechanist arts, which became a coveted treasure sought after by all.

Five centuries later, Ji Yechen, the crown prince of the Southern Zhou Kingdom who had been recuperating in the Kunlun Mountains, received news of his father’s sudden demise. He hurried back to Southern Zhou to ascend the throne, but along the way, he was relentlessly pursued by mysterious forces from all sides.

During his flight, he serendipitously encountered Yanshi Shi, the sole disciple of the elderly Yanshi, who was descending the mountain in search of her master. Little did they know, the intricate web of conspiracy surrounding them had only just begun to unravel.
