Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills gets 3 new characters – Kaito, Colette and Kufa trailer drops

Arel heads to the Institute of Magic
As the ongoing fantasy anime series Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! heads into its next arc, Arel our protagonist and his soon-to-be-wife (?) Raina have now been living back home in their small village for three years.
Arel has been learning magic from his father, while Arel’s mother has been teaching Raina how to be a good wife.
In the next arc of the anime, however, Arel heads to Arsbell the City of Magic to study at the Institute of Magic, leaving Raina behind with his parents. (Sneakily, in the dead of night, while leaving a cowardly note).
That, of course, is where three new Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! characters come in, as the anime got a new trailer, key art and cast additions information today.
Kaito, Colette and Kufa join Hero Without a Class
The three new characters to join Hero Without a Class are Kaito, Colette and Kufa. Three young students who, along with Arel, plan on studying at the Institute of Magic.
Kaito specializes in Red magic, which is fire and heat related, while Colette is a student of Green magic, which is air and weather related.
Kufa wants to become an expert in Blue magic, that of water, ice and anything cold.
And yes, funnily, all three new characters have hair that matches the color of their magic.
A new Hero Without a Class key visual also introduces all three, as they follow Arel to the magic institute. (above)
Kaito is voiced by Shouya Chiba (Hajime in Ao no Orchestra), while Colette is played by Yui Ogura (Shiroko in Blue Archive), and Rumi Okubo (Haru in Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle) is playing Kufa.

As the fantasy anime heads into its next arc, the second main Hero Without a Class trailer for the anime drops introducing Kaito, Colette and Kufa.
The trailer kicks off as Arel is learning magic from his father. We then meet Kaito, Colette and Kufa as they all travel to the City of Magic together, and then Arel easily passes every test in every magic school.
The new trailer also introduces the voice actors playing Kaito, Colette and Kufa, and gives us a hint of where the latest arc in the anime is heading next.

The anime is based on the light novels written by Shichio Kuzu and illustrated by Yumehito Ueda.
Kaoru Yabana (episode director of The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army Was a Human) is directing, with Chabou Higurashi (episode screenwriter for My One-Hit Kill Sister) is in charge of scripts and series composition, and Takayuki Chiba (chief animation director for The Beginning After the End) is designing the characters.
Studio A-Cat (She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man) is animating.
