The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies main visual released a week before premiere

The new fantasy rom-com anime The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies premieres on July 9th in Japan, which is why the anime’s main visual was released earlier today.
Got to promote it, you understand!
That The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies main visual also features all of the main characters from protagonists Mira and Byakuya (aka Magical Girl Glass Happiness), right down to Hibana Kagari, Hibana’s Angel (Bird), Byakuya’s Angel (Cat), Formalhaut and Bellatrix.
While pretty, the visual is a little washed out, so it is difficult to see some of the characters, but it is still nice having them all together just days before the anime hits the airwaves.
The anime is based on the late Cocoa Fujiwara’s manga, which is being published by Yen Press in English, with its first volume due out on August 27th.
Yen Press explains the manga’s plot like this:
She’s a magical girl, sworn to fight for peace, love, and justice. He’s a lieutenant, born into a military family that serves an evil empire. And yet, it was love at first sight…
From Inu x Boku SS creator Cocoa Fujiwara comes a four-panel comic about hostile enemies who won’t kill (and love) each other!
Yuuki Ono (Louis in Beastars) voices Mira, while Mai Nakahara (Kaavi in Mahjong Soul Kan!!) is Byakuya.
The anime is being directed by Akiyo Oohashi (Given – on the other hand), with Studio Bones (The Case Study of Vanitas) in charge of anime production.

Each episode is only 12 minutes in length, so it should not only be a fast, fun watch, but it also looks adorably cute.
