The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of the isekai fantasy light novel series, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World has just released a creditless version of its ending animation sequence.
Featuring supporting character Lycia Plaid who is voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri in Demon Slayer), Lycia performs the the ending theme song ‘Finally‘, which nicely sets the tone for what’s to come in this thrilling reincarnation series.
Especially as it introduces protagonist Ars Louvent and friend Lycia Plaid, and the ending animation features some incredibly sweet water-colored artwork.
Thus, setting the anime up to be one that just calms the heart.
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World light novels
The upcoming TV anime is based on the light novels of the same name penned by Miraijin A and illustrated by JIMMY.
Currently, there are 14 volumes published in Japan via Kodansha, with Kodansha USA publishing them in English — and with the 10th English volume arriving in May.
Kodansha explains the novels’ plot like this:
A salaryman suffers a heart attack and is reborn in another world as Ars Louvent, the child of an aristocratic house. Though lacking in physical strength, Ars has a unique “appraisal” skill that lets him see other people’s stats and latent abilities.
He puts this skill to the test by discovering a downtrodden young man with fearsome blade skills and a street urchin with a knack for magic.
Has Ars found the diamonds in the rough that will help him secure his family’s fortunes?
The upcoming As a Reincarnated Aristocrat anime series is being directed by Takao Kato (More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers), with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999), and with music from Kujira Yumemi (Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible).
Studio Mother (Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, Season 2) is in charge of anime production.
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World will premiere in Japan on April 7th, 2024.
While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, as it is another isekai anime, I have read the first three volumes of the light novel series and can say, if you enjoy a relaxing, heart-warming anime that’s there at the end of a day of hard work, this one will probably hit all the right spots.
Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime internationally as part of their Spring 2024 lineup.
