The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper gets anime, trailer, visual and cast named

While many anime fans bemoan the release of yet another isekai series, I unashamedly admit I am “all-in” for all of them.
After all, there is just something incredibly fun about watching someone arrive/reincarnate into an alternate world and then figure out how the world works so they can get what they want.
Case in point, the just-announced isekai anime The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World.
Based on the Hifumi Asakura light novels, it is another “man sent to another world and almost immediately figures out how to beat the system while founding his own harem ” isekai that is just up my alley.
The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Shopper… plot
This time, The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World follows almost-40-year-old Kenichi Hamada who is suddenly transported into another world.
While trying to make his way through a dangerous forest, it dawns on him he can sell things he finds in his new world and use the money to buy anything he wants from a massive online shop he has access to.
This ability quickly makes defeating monsters a piece of cake, while Kenichi’s life becomes easy and fun.

Along with the announcement of an anime adaptation via the newly-set-up X account for the upcoming anime, we also got a teaser trailer, a first key visual and the voice actor playing Kenichi Hamada named.
The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World trailer is just a teaser trailer (watch below), so features just 30 seconds of anime footage of Kenichi arriving in his new world, some of the strange people and creatures he meets, and the moment he suddenly realizes online shopping could be his salvation.
Meanwhile, the first The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World visual features Kenichi still in the forest and hand-in-hand with Anemone, who manga readers will already know.
Junichi Suwabe (Yami in Black Clover) has been named as voicing Kenichi.

While no information has been released yet about the animation studio (East Fish Studio now confirmed), staff, director or other voice actors, the anime itself is currently scheduled for a 2025 premiere.
