The upcoming supernatural mystery anime The Holy Grail of Eris (aka Eris no Seihai) has a new key visual out featuring main girls Connie and Scarlett.
And yep, this key visual is a cute one as we get a good look at not only main characters Connie and Scarlett, the ghost who possesses shunned fiancée Connie, but Lily Orlamunde and her mysterious key, and the late Lily’s husband Randolph Ulster, as well as a slew of supporting characters standing behind them.
The anime’s X account confirmed the four main characters’ voice actors:
- Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika in Bocchi the Rock!) voices Scarlet Castiel
- Kana Ishinose (Kotono in The Shiunji Family Children) as Connie Grail
- Yohei Azakami (Ron in Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions) plays Randolph Ulster
- M.A.O (Mitsuki in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) as Lily Orlamunde
The latest The Holy Grail of Eris key visual also arrived today with a firm announcement of the anime’s premiere date — January 8th, 2026 in Japan.
It will air on 28 TBS-affiliated stations, with no word yet on who will be streaming the series internationally.
Theme songs for The Holy Grail of Eris confirmed
Fans who are big on anime theme songs (and who isn’t?) will also be happy to hear both songs are now confirmed.
They are ‘Happy Ever After‘ by Reina Washio feat. YU-KA as the OP, and ‘Camellia‘ performed by Yukari Tamura as it’s ED.
‘Camellia‘ will officially be released on January 14th, 2026, with information about the release of ‘Happy Ever After‘ coming at a later date according to Japanese label LDH Records.
What’s the plot and production details for The Holy Grail of Eris?
The mystery anime is based on the popular light novels written and illustrated by Kujira Tokiwa.
The Holy Grail of Eris is directed by Morita to Jumpei, with Kenichi Yamashita (writer for A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) in charge of both scripts and series composition, and Chie Kawaguchi as character designer.
As for the animators, Ashi Productions (animators of 365 Days to the Wedding) is in charge of animation production.
Plot-wise, The Holy Grail of Eris a supernatural revenge story that follows viscount’s daughter Connie Grail who is dumped by her fiancé, and then framed for a crime she didn’t commit.
While nobody believes Connie as she pleads her innocence, one person eventually does. The ghost of the deceased Scarlett Castiel, a noblewoman who was executed after also being framed by some very nefarious people.
Soon, Connie agrees to let Scarlett possess her so she can get revenge on her accusers. The problem is what happens when Scarlett also uses that opportunity to get back at the people that caused her own death?
Look out for The Holy Grail of Eris dropping its first episode on January 8th. Although, I have a feeling we will be getting more promo materials before then, don’t you?
