2nd Campfire Cooking in Another World… Season 2 visual has Fel salivating over Mukouda’s food

There is a new visual out for the upcoming anime Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Season 2, and it’s perfect.
That’s because, this time, the new Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Season 2 is a close-up of Fel, our favorite Fenrir just about to scarf down a huge plate of steak prepared by Mukouda, and he looks ecstatic about it.
Well, let’s face it. Fel only chose to be become Mukouda’s familiar because of the delicious food he makes, right?
The visual follows on from the teaser trailer and first visual of Mukouda himself enjoying his food, which came out earlier in the month.
The visual is the second one that has been released for Season 2 of the anime, which is due to premiere in October, 2025.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill 2 production details
The fantasy adventure comedy anime (called Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi in Japan) is based on the light novel series written by Ren Eguchi.
The series has 16 volumes out in Japan, with Volume 16 hitting shelves last December.
J-Novel Club has also been publishing the light novels in an English translation, with 15 volumes out in digital form and with Volume 16 heading our way soon.
Its manga adaptation also has 10 volumes published, in both Japanese and English.
As for the novels’ anime adaptation, just like Season 1, Season 2 is being directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda (Re-Main), with Michiko Yokote (Train to the End of the World) in charge of series composition, and Nao Ootsu (Beastars) designing the characters.
Studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen) is also back animating the series.
The anime’s plot, which was explained in the light novels’ first volume, sounds like this:
Mukouda Tsuyoshi, an office worker, gets caught up in the “Hero Summoning” and is transported to another world.
Feeling suspicious about the story of the king of the other world, however, Mukouda decides to quickly escape the country and sets off on a journey alone. The only skill he can rely on on his journey is the one he was given when he was summoned: Online Supermarket.
It’s a convenient skill that allows him to order products from modern Japanese supermarkets while in the other world!
However, during his journey to a neighboring country, the delicious smell of the “pork with ginger” he serves to his guards attracts a surprising being –!?
The journey of the man who uses his “incredible skill” to cook delicious monster meat and the gluttonous Fenrir begins here!
