Rakshasa Street, Season 4 ending theme song premieres
While I am always excited when a new season of the Chinese donghua Rakshasa Street premieres, as a music journalist, I also look forward to seeing what kind of opening theme and ending theme song the production committee decides are appropriate to express the emotions of the new series.
Today the wait for the Rakshasa Street, Season 4 ending theme song at least is over, as that was released via the Made By Bilibili – Chinese Donghua Animation YouTube channel a few hours ago and, on Spotify a couple of days ago, and man, it is definitely a pretty one.
The song also came with the incredibly touching ending animation for the new season.
That features clips of the main characters before they became involved with the world of spirits — Fengzha with his sister when they were children, Xia Ling graduating from university, Bei Luo happy with his daughter Shuier at an amusement park, Cao Yanbing as a child dangling by his knees from a tree — as well as Cao Yanbing and his group, now as adults, continuing with their mission.

What is the Rakshasa Street, Season 4 ending theme song and who sings it?
The song is called ‘Dependence‘ or 相依, and is performed by Chinese pop singer Wang Chenrui.
The lovely ballad was composed by Yue Wu, with lyrics by Li Shu.
Wang Chenrui (aka 汪晨蕊) is a popular pop singer in China.
She was born in Xingning City in Guangdong Province in July, 1991, and started out her career by winning a local singing competition in 2012.
Since then, she has gone on to win a slew of nationwide competitions, which led to her releasing her first EP in 2016.
In the last few years, along with releasing her own albums and EPs, Wang Chenrui has also provided theme songs for a number of donghua including Legend of Exorcism (Tianbao Fuyao Lu) and Jinwu Guard: The Wind Rises in Jinling (Jinwu Wei: Feng Qi Jinling).
