Supporting character Eldas is next in line for a character trailer
While we haven’t seen Eldas for very long so far in the ongoing fantasy anime The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest, he is a big influence on protagonist Alec’s life.
So much so, even though Eldas warned Alec to never become a court magician, he became one anyway as he really thought he could help change things in the court.
To prove just how important Eldas is to Alec, today The Banished Court Magician dropped an Eldas Miheila character video following on from those we have already seen this week for Alec’s friends Ornest Rain and Krasia Annerose.
And those for Alec Ygret and Yorha Eisenz from last week. (Update: A character video for spoiled prince Regulus also just arrived).

Character video for Eldas reminds us how kind he was
Eldas Miheila’s character video shows the former court magician training Alec as a child, and reminding him to stay focused.
He also tells Alec he has immense talent, and reminds him commoners are not insignificant people either.
While Eldas’ character video doesn’t show us anything else about the man, who hopefully will show up again in later episodes, it does remind us what a kind person he was, and how he worked hard to bring out Alec’s natural magical talent.
That rich, sophisticated sounding voice for Eldas Miheila is provided by Hikaru Midorikawa.
He is one of Japan’s most hard-working voice actors, and is known for playing Garou in One Punch Man, Reinhard von Lohengramm in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Sakamoto in Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto, the very cool Zora in Black Clover, and Kaoru in SK8 the Infinity to name just a few of the hundreds of anime characters he has voiced in the last almost 20 years.

Where are we in the anime series so far?
Episode 5 of The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest dropped earlier today.
A satisfying episode as we finally got the awaited-confrontation between bratty prince Regulus Galdana and Alec. A confrontation that doesn’t go off quite as you might expect, but one that has a very satisfying and quite redemptive ending. For both of them.
The ongoing fantasy anime is being directed by Ken Takahashi (Ragna Crimson), and is animated by Studio Gekkou (Demon Lord, Retry! R).
It tells the story of Alec Ygret who, after he is fired from his job as court magician by an incredibly spoiled young prince, he rejoins the adventuring party he used to belong to when he was in magic school.
An adventuring party made up of his best friends, and one that was able to hit a level in a dungeon nobody else had been able to achieve before.
Enjoy another brief look at Eldas Miheila in his character video, and look out for Episode 6 of this incredibly fun fantasy anime when it premieres on November 8th on Crunchyroll.
