Tales of Herding Gods, Ep 13 clip has the Blind Grandfather killing an assassin with one blow – Watch

If you have been watching the ongoing fantasy action adventure donghua Tales of Herding Gods (aka Mushen Ji), you will already know, despite being old and disabled, protagonist Qin Mu’s “grandparents” are pretty darned kickass.
Not only does each grandparent have specific fighting skills, just about any of them has the ability to murder anyone that arrives in the wasteland ready to kill them.
Or at least give them a good run for their money, while their friends rush to help.
That’s how they annihilated the “righteous sect members” who tried to murder Mu earlier in the series, and how “the Blind Grandfather” was so easily able to kill an assassin from the Heavenly Demon Sect with a single blow in the recently-aired Episode 13.
That assassination is featured in a new clip from Tales of Herding Gods, Episode 13, and proves immediately how incredible the grandparents’ skills are when under threat.
Granny Si attacks while the blind grandfather kills
In the Tales of Herding Gods, Episode 13 clip, we first see Granny Si being attacked by the demon sect assassin, but managing to push him off with the use of both her power and the red threads she controls.
Mu then helps evict the assassin from the house with his new spiritual device, Khakkhara.
Only minutes later, however, and the assassin has turned himself into a lamp bearer who is walking through the village warning people about not setting foot outside its confines until daylight.
As he heads towards the Blind Grandfather, however, the disabled man slowly gets up and walks towards the assassin.
Then, right as he passes him, the Blind Grandfather strikes with his spear and kills him.
As the assassin is still standing, but dying, the grandfather then tells him he knows he is from the Shadow Hall’s assassin branch.
The assassin responds, calling him “the Spear God”.
Yes, even while not being able to see, all it took was a couple of seconds of the grandfather’s time to completely destroy the threat and, yep, he seems to be hiding a secret about himself.
