New Sword of the Demon Hunter key visual, cast members and theme songs for Bakumatsu arc drop

The ongoing fantasy action adventure anime Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho is headed into its Bakumatsu Arc with Episode 14, which premieres on July 14th.
This comes after a two week break, and with fans wondering exactly how many episodes Season 1 of the anime comprises.
It turns out, according to the anime’s website, the entire season will comprise 24 episodes. So, with 13 episodes already out, that gives us 11 episodes to start and finish the Bakumatsu Arc, right?
Sword of the Demon Hunter key visual drops
Ahead of Episode 14 premiering, we just got a powerful new Sword of the Demon Hunter key visual, alongside three additional cast members and their characters.
A second opening theme song — ‘Ash’ by Alexandros — has also been announced, and a new ending theme song — ‘Enrin‘ performed by Fake Type.
The latest Sword of the Demon Hunter key visual was released on the anime’s X account yesterday, with the comment:
From Episode 14, the “Bakumatsu Arc” Begins.
A visual capturing the moment Jinta, wielding his sword (Yorai), faces off against a demon with red eyes and a single large horn.
3 new cast members/characters join Sword of the Demon Hunter for Bakumatsu arc
The three new voice actors joining the Sword of the Demon Hunter cast and their characters are:
- Toshihiko Seki (Muzan Kibutsuji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) who voices Yasuhide Hatakeyama
- Kenichirou Matsuda (Bond Forger in Spy x Family) voicing Tsuchiura
- Kazuya Nakai (Zoro in One Piece) as Kiichi Okada
Visuals of all three new characters, who first appear in Episode 14, were released.
The voice actors also commented about their characters:
Toshihiko Seki’s comment: Yasuhide Hatakeyama lives in the late Edo period, when the warrior class is becoming unnecessary, but he continues to resist to the end, wanting to leave his mark as a warrior and resist the relentless flow of the times he is currently facing… but history swallows up not only Hatakeyama, but everyone, including Jinta, and transcends time.
I went up to the microphone thinking that this is an interesting piece that is hard to find anywhere else.
Comment from Matsuda Kenichiro (about Tsuchiura): Because he has strong feelings and beliefs, he is hit by tragedy and is caught up in his fate… However, I feel hopeful the characters Jinta and the others will resist this absurdity…I think that’s what makes this work so appealing.
Tsuchiura is one of those characters. He’s a man who doesn’t suit himself and feels somewhat vulnerable. It seems that he is clinging to his beliefs because of his fragility… It depends largely on his own background and past.
I hope you will feel the deepest feelings and destiny of Tsuchiura’s heart.
Kazuya Nakai’s comment (about Kiichi Okada): I was conscious of making sure that the meaning of the sword that Okada spoke about penetrated Jinta, the man he was fighting with.
His thoughts may seem fanatical, but I hope that I was able to express his high level of perfection as a swordsman, rather than just being strong and violent.
I enjoyed using the old-fashioned expressions that made me feel good when I spoke.
