It’s almost impossible to earn ratings as low as Kick Kick Kick Kick did for its series finale – Yikes!
I have to say I am kind of sad to see the rating K-drama Kick Kick Kick Kick ended on last night.
No, I’m not a fan of the drama — it was badly written, not particularly funny, the direction wasn’t great, and much of it was ultra-annoying.
But, the cast of Kick Kick Kick Kick is absolutely stellar, with every single actor deserving much better than this.
The nationwide rating for Kick Kick Kick Kick, Episode 12, however, was a lowly 0.30 percent — a tiny drop from the 0.4 percent it earned for its penultimate episode, and a rating that caused it to end up in 78th place for shows watched on Thursday.
It was also back to the same all-time low rating the Korean drama earned for Episode 10, and has now been named the lowest-rated drama on a free-to-watch TV channel in all of South Korean history.
Yes, those wonderful actors deserved much much much better than this. But hey, at least they have become infamous for having their names associated with this utter disaster. (Shrug).
International ratings for Kick Kick Kick Kick after its 12 episode run ends
Internationally, Kick Kick Kick Kick is now rated 7.9 on Viki, where it is streaming for international viewers.
That is 0.20 percent higher than it was after Episode 11, but still a low rating for viewers of that site, who are very generous about their dramas and often rate Korean dramas with at least an 8.5 out of 10.
Meanwhile, the KBS2 drama is still rated an even lower 7.3 out of 10 on My Drama List.
Kick Kick Kick Kick stars Ji Jin Hee, Lee Kyu Hyung, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Min Jae.
