Latest episode of Taxi Driver, Season 3 still performing exceptionally well in South Korea
While you may look at the ratings for Taxi Driver, Season 3, Episode 3 and deduce the K-drama has earned its lowest ratings of its run so far (it has), you should also look at the percentage of the viewership it earned.
After all, even though Taxi Driver 3, Episode 3 garnered lower ratings on Friday night than it did for its first two episodes, those ratings were still very high, and still meant the SBS series was the #1 most-watched mini-drama of the week.
The Taxi Driver 3, Episode 3 nationwide rating, for instance, was 8.6 percent, which is down from Episode 2’s audience share of 9.0 percent, and Episode 1’s rating of 9.5 percent (its highest rating so far).
The K-drama’s rating in Seoul was better, although still its lowest yet, garnering 9.0 percent of the Seoul viewership compared to Episode 2’s 9.5 percent and Episode 1’s audience share of 9.9 percent.
Compare those ratings, though, to those of its rival Moon River, which airs on MBC at the same time, and considering that drama garnered 5.5 percent nationwide, and 5.3 percent in Seoul, you can see how well Taxi Driver actually performed.

International ratings for Taxi Driver 3 on three major platforms
As you may expect if you use the site yourself, the stupidly low rating of 5.1 out of 10 that Taxi Driver 3 earned from the trolls that populate My Drama List when it first premiered on November 21st has now increased to an 8.4 out of 10.
An excellent rating for the strict-with-their-favor users of the Asian drama website.
On IMDB, it is initially difficult to see how much international viewers are enjoying the third season of the Korean drama as, unlike most other platforms, IMDB lumps ratings for all three seasons into one overall rating.
That means the Korean drama is currently earning 8.1 out of 10 on the site.
When you dig deeper, however, Taxi Driver 3 is performing exceptionally well so far, with Episodes 1 through 3 all earning 9.3 out of 10 from that website’s users — the highest ratings for any episode in all three seasons.
Finally, Taxi Driver 3 is streaming on Viki where it is earning a crazy high rating of 9.9 out of 10 from almost 1,000 users.
Considering the ratings on the site are almost always inflated, the real rating is more likely to be in the high 8.0’s or low 9.0’s.
Overall, however, and with 13 episodes still to air, you can see the third season of the hit Korean drama is performing exceptionally well with international viewers on all three of these major review sites.
Update, November 30th: And, just like that, Episode 4 of Taxi Driver 3 just skyrocketed into double digits for the first time!
