Crash Ep 2 ratings increase as international viewers also rate the K-drama positively

The new ENA drama Crash, Episode 2 aired last night to a very nice rise in its ratings versus its first episode.
The latest numbers from Nielsen Korea show Crash, Episode 2 saw an almost 1.0 percent audience share increase, as it jumped from 2.32 percent on Monday night to last night’s 3.03 percent nationwide.
While not seeing as big of a jump in Seoul, as the K-drama started off with higher ratings in that region than nationwide, the viewership for Crash still nicely increased to 3.01 percent from Monday’s 2.64 percent.
Crash ratings solid from international viewers
International viewers also seem to still be enjoying the Korean comedy action drama.
IMDB viewers, albeit a very small number (12), are currently giving the K-drama a 9.1 out of 10.
Meanwhile, My Drama List (MDL) users are now rating the Korean drama an 8.2 out of 10, which is a solid rating from users of that site, and with comments that are overwhelmingly positive.
This comment from one user on MDL explains my thoughts on the drama so far perfectly:
I liked these two episodes. It has a regular old investigative drama feel and the underdog main team each have their charm and are quite funny. Pacing is quite fast but then its only 12 episodes.
I was worried about Lee Min-ki ever since I saw the trailers, but so far his character’s quirkiness is good.
Crash stars the superb ensemble cast of Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Ho Chul, and Moon Hee.
The Korean drama’s next episode will air on Monday, May 20th on ENA in South Korea and, unfortunately, on Disney Plus for international viewers. (If it’s available in your region, as it isn’t available in many).
