World of Immortals, Episode 20 stills are the prettiest yet
Chinese donghua World of Immortals, Episode 20 stills are out right as the episode itself is now streaming, both in China and internationally.
The nine new stills feature the Chinese anime’s protagonist Xiao Chen, along with the adorable Ke Ke, and the mysterious Lan Nuo and, yes, they’re some of the prettiest ones yet.
Of course, the Bloody Hand makes another appearance too.
The World of Immortals, Episode 20 stills were released on animation studio Qingxiang Culture’s official Weibo account earlier today with, as usual, a comment from the studio about what we can expect to see in the donghua’s latest episode:
#WorldOfImmortals, Episode 20 is now airing!
The Bloody Hand arrives and obstructs, just as the Dragon King paves the way!
Headless Angel, Xiao Chen bravely saves Ke Ke!
The God of Time, Lan Nuo’s identity is also revealed!
And, yep, with only six more episodes of the first season to air, I’m thrilled to hear we will finally be learning more about Lan Nuo, aren’t you?
World of Immortals (aka Chang Sheng Jie) streaming schedule
The donghua (Chinese anime) itself premiered on YOUKU on October 29th, 2024 for a scheduled 24 episodes. That means, if the schedule remains the same, we should see the season finale release on April 1st on all platforms.
World of Immortals is animated by the previously mentioned Qingxiang Culture (Apotheosis), with YOUKU acting as producers.
The animated series itself has been a pleasant surprise for many donghua fans, who have been commenting on its well-written plot, excellent animation (especially in the battle scenes), unusual characters, and gorgeous character designs.
Especially those of Xiao Chen, Lin’er, Qing Cheng Yan, the Three Kings and Ke Ke. At least for me.
