In the early years of the Great Zhou Dynasty, the Tianyuan Divine Sect, originally the guardian sect of the Shang Dynasty, was besieged by the other five major divine sects.

The sect’s leader, Di Jue, ascended to immortality, and Ye Xingyun was thrust into the role of leading the Tianyuan Divine Sect in a time of crisis.

Ye Xingyun, the last surviving prince of the Great Shang Kingdom, embarked on a journey to restore his nation and avenge his annihilated clan.

The War of the Gods had just concluded, and the once-present deities had vanished without a trace. The wilderness was teeming with various demonic beasts and mountain spirits, bandits roamed in groups, and within the cities, powerful aristocratic families held sway.

Ye Xingyun’s first objective was to infiltrate the Qingyu aristocratic family, using a strategy akin to “swapping a cat for a prince,” to disguise himself as a member of the Qingyu family—a man who happened to be the long-lost son of the Prince of Qi. Recognized by the Prince of Qi as his missing son, the two were reunited.

As the returned son of the Prince of Qi and the leader of the Tianyuan Divine Sect, Ye Xingyun quickly rose to a position of immense power and influence.
