Touken Ranbu Kai film’s Doudanuki Masakuni character video showcases brave and strong sword

The latest in a series of Touken Ranbu Kai:Kyoden‘s character videos for the upcoming prequel movie has been released today on the anime film’s official X channel.
The film’s official title, by the way, is Touken Ranbu Kai –Douden Chikashi Samuraira Umonora–.
This time it is a Doudanuki Masakuni’s character video (watch below) that introduces the sword who is more substance than style.
Not that that stops him from being incredibly handsome as well.
His character video also shows him to be a high-energy, strong, and courageous person.
The sword, which was made by a swordsmith of Kyuushuu Higo, is voiced by Tooru Sakurai, who also voices Tonbokiri, Doudanuki and Yamabushi Kunihiro in the Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden anime series.
Six Touken Ranbu Kai –Douden Chikashi Samuraira Umonora– character videos due out
Doudanuki Masakuni’s character video is one of a series of six planned videos introducing the anime film’s main characters.
Others already released are those for Shokudaikiri Mitsutada who is known for always supporting his troops, self-confident and witty Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and the ultra-reliable and dependable Heshikiri Hasebe.
Touken Ranbu Kai –Douden Chikashi Samuraira Umonora– itself is due to release in Japanese movie theaters on August 16th.
