The Winning Try, Ep11 grabs its highest Friday ratings as it heads into finale – international viewers LOVING its plot and cast

As the Korean drama The Winning Try heads towards its final episode later on tonight, last night’s penultimate episode earned its highest Friday ratings yet.
According to data via Nielsen Korea, The Winning Try, Episode 11 earned 6.0 percent of the nationwide viewerships on Friday night.
That is up from the 5.60 percent the SBS drama garnered on August 22nd for its 9th episode, and an excellent rating going into its series finale tonight.
Meanwhile, The Winning Try, Episode 11 performed even better with viewers watching the drama in Seoul as it grabbed 6.20 percent of the nation’s capital’s audience share.
However, that rating was slightly down from the all-time high rating of 6.30 percent the K-drama earned for Episode 9.
International viewers’ reactions as K-drama airs penultimate episode
With just one episode left to air, I have to say I am thrilled that international viewers have been consistently rating the Korean drama high, and are still continuing to do so.
Especially on My Drama List, where anything above an 8.2 is a superb rating, and where The Winning Try is now earning 8.5 out of 10.
The Winning Try is the #1 most-watched mini-series on Friday
That is slightly up from the 8.4 out of 10 the drama had been earning for much of its run so far, and a sign that what it has offered has been overwhelmingly enjoyed by the majority of people watching it.

Viewers too are raving about The Winning Try‘s plot and performances, with even those initially irritated with some of the plot points thrilled they are being wrapped up so well.
As My Drama List has many more viewers watching Korean and other Asian dramas than any other site, that its users are now rating the drama even higher suggests that sentiment is likely prevalent amongst many tens of thousands of other viewers elsewhere.
It also recently made it into the Netflix Top 10 in six countries.
The Winning Try stars Yoon Kye Sang, Im Se Mi and Kim Yo Han and, if you are desperate to find out how this superb drama ends, Episode 12 has just dropped on Netflix and viewers are raving about it.
