The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human anime got another character video today, with just over a month to go before it premieres.
This time, the fifth The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army PV is a Lilith character video.
And an introduction to the anime’s sexy succubus whose only goal in life is to become even closer to protagonist Ike. (see above)
In the Lilith video, we can see the pink-haired succubus punching someone who is causing trouble, but making sure she only goes so far so she doesn’t actually kill them.
Because she could.
Lilith also made an appearance in the anime’s latest key visual alongside protagonist Ike, Satie, and Jiron, as we can also see Demon Lord Dairokuten lounging on her throne in the background. (see below)
The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human light novel
The upcoming dark fantasy anime series is based on the light novel series of the same name, written by Ryousuke Hata and illustrated by Kuma.
The series has 5 volumes out, with a currently-10-volume manga spin-off also published, and an 11th volume due out in Japan in July.
As of yet, the light novel and manga have not received English translations, but hopefully that will change once the anime premieres.
The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army anime staff
As for the anime, it is being directed by Norihiko Nagahama (I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills), with Touko Machida (7th Time Loop) in charge of series composition and scripts, and Masami Sueoka (I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger…) designing the characters.
The plot goes something like this:
Ike is known as “the strongest magician in the demon king’s army” and is single-handedly conquering fortresses. The way he mows down the enemies with his immense magic truly makes him a “monster” feared by both allies and foes alike.
However, he has a secret that he cannot tell other demons. “I’m actually human.”
