The Shiunji Family Children anime gets Banri Shiunji character visual – as rom-com gears up for 2025 release

The upcoming comedy romance anime The Shiunji Family Children won’t premiere until some time in 2025, but that hasn’t stopped the production committee releasing the show’s first character visual. (below)
The first one is a Banri Shiunji character visual that, quite appropriately, shows us just how adorable the oldest daughter is with her big eyes and wide smile.
Banri is the first of the seven Shiunji children to get a visual, with six more due to arrive on the next six consecutive days.
According to The Shiunji Family Children anime’s official X account, Banri herself is known for being “kind and reliable” as well.
The anime also has a new trailer out with the seven family members introducing themselves, and with voice actress Chika Anzai (Shizuru in Train to the End of the World) playing Banri. (watch below)
The Shiunji Family Children anime’s first key visual came out back in August.
That shows all seven children, including main dude Arata Shiunji — the high school student and brother all the romance drama will soon begin to revolve around.
Let’s see which of the seven children gets their character visual tomorrow then, eh?
The Shiunji Family Children anime staff
The anime’s staff was also announced in August, with Ryouki Kamitsubo (Hidamari Sketch) directing the series. It will be his first directing role since 2011 when he directed Softenni! the Animation.
Noboru Kimura (Kemono Jihen) is in charge of series composition, with Miki Mutou (animation director for Wataten! An Angel Flew Down to Me: Precious Friends) both animation director and in charge of character design.
Doga Koba (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian) is in charge of anime production.
Fans of the manga series the upcoming anime is based on will already know the series is published in English by Yen Press, who has recently published its second episode and with Volume 3 coming out early next year.
The manga is written and drawn by Reiji Miyajima.
The Shiunji Family Children plot
The manga, and now the upcoming anime, tell the story of the seven children in the Shiunji family. A family known for being both wealthy. and having five of the most beautiful girls in the community as members.
In with those five girls, Arata is the oldest of two boys, and he has spent his life being manipulated depending on his sisters’ whims.
Things change, however, when a secret confessed by their father comes to light. That secret will suddenly change the way all seven siblings deal with each other, and send Arata’s life into a tailspin.
As of now, there is no exact date when The Shiunji Family Children anime will premiere, just some time in 2025.
