The Princess’s Gambit series finale visual drops with promise of more BTS videos coming soon

Now personally, I dropped the Chinese historical romance drama The Princess’s Gambit after Episode 24 when it became obvious the “writing” was worsening even further with every new episode, and that Meng Zi Yi’s “acting” skills and one-facial expression throughout were never going to improve.
(I don’t know what happened to her in this, as she has shown solid acting skills in other C-dramas she has appeared in?)
Considering I have dropped fewer than 10 Asian dramas in my entire lifetime, you can only guess at how bad this one turned out to be.
According to comments on Chinese social media (if true?), the production team for The Princess’s Gambit fired the original screenwriter mid-way through the production and substituted a whole stable of writers who then gave us this horrible mess.
Honestly, it’s just about the only thing that makes sense as the first eight or so episodes were decent, until the plot disintegrated into a Shitshow of Trope-filled Stupidity.

According to Tencent Video, who just released the above visual, they plan on releasing BTS videos with some fun scenes from the set.
Now, Tencent Video in China will probably get more of the BTS videos than international viewers, but still look out for them on WeTV this week.
