The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection Ep 15 earns solid ratings prior to series finale tonight

While the ratings for the Korean drama The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection have been erratic since its premiere on March 29th, and with the series grabbing only half the audience of its first season, The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, Episode 15 did air to a steady rating last night.
That nationwide rating, via Nielsen Korea, was 3.2 percent of the audience share, putting the K-drama in 16th place on Korean TV for the day, and giving it an increase of 0.10 percent over Episode 14.
In Seoul, the Korea drama performed slightly better, garnering 3.5 percent of the audience share — up from Episode 14’s 3.3 percent — and landing it in 13th place of the most-watched shows on TV for Friday.
Not particularly great numbers considering the first season of The Escape of the Seven ended with a 6.2 percent average rating nationwide, and 6.3 percent in Seoul, but solid enough for this season.
What are international viewers rating The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection?
After The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, Episode 15 aired last night, the Korean drama is still being rated a low 7.7 out of 10 on My Drama List.
Although, interestingly, that is higher than the drama’s first season, which currently has a 7.4 out of 10 rating on the site.
The second season of the drama, however, has also only been dropped by 1.7 percent of viewers rating it.
Meanwhile, over on Viki where the Korean mystery thriller has been airing since the first episode of the first season on September 15th, 2024, The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection is still being rated a high 9.1 out of 10.
That is also quite a bit higher than season one, which is rated an 8.4 out of 10 on the site.
The series finale of The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection will air tonight on SBS in South Korea, with Viki streaming it for its international viewers.
Let’s see how its ratings perform then but, hopefully, it will end its season on a high. Just like the K-drama’s first season did.
