Rakshasa Street, Season 4’s Diao Lingyun character videos shows a kickass girl who loves to play video games

The donghua Rakshasa Street, Season 4 premieres tomorrow, November 22nd, via Bilibili, and that means the company’s YouTube channel has been releasing character videos like crazy over the last few days.
We have already had character videos for Sun Zhantian, Liu Yuchan, Xiang Kunlun, and Honglian, and yesterday the channel released a very cute Diao Lingyun character video.
She was mentioned early in the series, but has not yet appeared in the donghua.
Rakshasa Street, Season 4 then will be her debut.
In the just-released Diao Lingyun character video, we see the cute fighter showing how powerful she is in a battle against protagonist Cao Yanbing, while also revealing her other side — that of a pretty obsessive video gamer.

What to expect with Rakshasa Street, Season 4?
While we never know what will happen when a new season of a donghua is due to premiere, we do know the events will take place right after Cao Yanbing and the rest of his group destroyed the Luhua Ancient Building and the four gods who protected it.
Now, according to Bilibili, this is some of where the donghua will be heading when it premieres tomorrow:
After the fight in Luhua Ancient Building, the soul commander orders “Heroes Palace” to capture Cao Yanbing, who has broken into Tianwu Street and Fenglei Street with his friends. They get out of there after an adventure, but run into Diao Lingyun who is coming to take Cao Yanbing.
In order to find his mother’s whereabouts, Cao Yanbing is willingly taken to the death row in the Spirit Realm. While poking around for some clues, he’s stopped by a guard and caught in a fierce fight.
Xia Ling, Beiluo Shimen and Yan Fengzha come and try to help Cao Yanbing out with the help of Guo Xiaoyao, Sun Zhantian and Liu Yuchan. Various forces are gathering there, starting an unprecedented battle of heroes.
All I can say to that is, while I did enjoy the third season of Rakshasa Street (aka Zhen Hun Jie), some of the fights seemed a little bit endless and the plot suffered because of it.
My wish then is to see a tighter more interesting plot for the donghua’s fourth season while, of course, still getting to see a huge number of well-animated battles.

The fourth season itself will be hitting Bilibili’s ‘Chinese Donghua Animation’ YouTube channel either tomorrow or the day after.
