Korean actor Namkoong Min is reportedly in talks to star in a new tvN drama titled Our Movie (working title).
Korean entertainment media is reporting the news about the 46-year-old actor with his agency, 935 Entertainment, confirming he is considering an offer to star in the upcoming drama, but that nothing has been decided yet.
What’s the plot of Our Movie?
Our Movie reportedly tells the story of movie director Lee Je Ha who is struggling to film a new project after his first project, which was written and directed by him, was a massive success.
He eventually decides to tell the story of a woman who is terminally ill, which ends up starring an actress who is herself suffering from a terminal illness.
There is no word yet on who is likely to take the role of the actress.
Our Movie is being directed by Inspector Koo director Lee Jung Heum, and was written by Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min.
Namkoong Min’s most recent work
As for Namkoong Min, he is most recently known for his superb performance in the MBC drama My Dearest for which he won a Baeksang Award as Best Actor.
He also won an MBC Daeksang (Grand Prize) Award for the same role, as well as was part of the Best Couple award at the MBC Drama Awards alongside My Dearest co-star Ahn Eun Jin.
Prior to that, the incredibly talented Korean actor starred in dramas One Dollar Lawyer, The Veil, Awaken, Hot Stove League, Falsify, The Undateables and Doctor Prisoner, to name just a few.
