A character video for Lycoris Recoil’s Kurumi today is the last one being released before the original anime premieres in July.
The cute Kurumi character video shows the feisty runaway, cafe worker and zombie killer proving it’s all about food for her, and also gives us a quick peek at the fabulous voice work of actress Misaki Kuno (the talking pig Hawk in The Seven Deadly Sins).
The Lycoris Recoil anime follows cafe workers Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue as they not only make sure their customers are happy with the food and snacks they are served, but also deal with after-work job requests like killing monsters.
The upcoming Lycoris Recoil anime is being directed by Shingo Adachi (Character Design and Chief Animation Director of Working!!!).
Asaura (creator of Ben-to) is writing scripts, and Imigimuru (creator of and character designer for This Art Club Has a Problem!) designing characters.
A-1 Pictures is in charge of animation production.
Not much information has been released so far about the original anime series, except for character video releases for each of the main characters, and a couple of key visuals.
And, of course, character designs that prove the Lycoris Recoil girls are incredibly cute.
