K-drama Frankly Speaking debuts on Netflix Top 10 after being viewed 2.5 million hours

The Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na K-drama Frankly Speaking debuted on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart today.
While not at a high place on the chart yet, the Korean drama did grab the #8 spot.
That was due to being watched 1.2 million times over the last five days, for a total of 2.5 million hours viewed during the period April 29th to May 5th.
Not bad for a drama that had only been out for five days, and with just two episodes available to watch, when the chart released.
Frankly Speaking one of two K-dramas on Netflix Top 10
According to Netflix via their Tudum platform, Frankly Speaking was in the Top 10 in 9 countries last week, including Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and South Korea.
It was one of two Korean dramas on this week’s chart, with Queen of Tears grabbing the #3 spot as its final episode aired.
The Korean rom-com also saw a slightly higher rating for its second episode when it aired on JTBC in South Korea last week.
Fingers crossed then that its next episode, which airs tomorrow night, will earn another increase in its audience, and that it will climb even higher up the Top 10.
Frankly Speaking (aka 비밀은 없어 in Korea) tells the story of a newscaster who, after accidentally electrocuting himself, suddenly finds himself speaking first and thinking later.
As you might imagine, some pretty horrible (and funny) situations occur because of it.
