Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Ep 4 has HUGE ratings increase – most successful tvN drama of 2025

After the ratings for K-drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Episode 4 were released by Nielsen Korea last night, it is obvious the Korean series is now tvN’s biggest hit of 2025 so far.
After all, not only did it earn the highest ratings for a tvN drama this year, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Episode 4 also saw a huge increase in its viewership last night.
That increase was a 3.48 percent rise in its audience share versus Episode 3 as it grabbed 11.06 percent of the nationwide audience on Sunday night.
The Korean drama was just as successful with viewers in Seoul where it garnered an even higher 11.41 percent rating. The first time it has earned double digits since it premiered on August 23rd.
That is also a huge 4.24 percent rise in the K-drama’s Seoul ratings from its previous episode.
The international success of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty
Meanwhile, the Korean drama was in the Top 10 on Netflix in 50 countries last week (new data releases tomorrow), and is currently sitting at #4 on the platform’s Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart.
Viewers on My Drama List are also currently awarding the K-drama a high (for them) 8.4 out of 10, and with overwhelmingly positive comments praising the drama’s writing and the performances of stars Yoona (who also did a superb job in King the Land) and Lee Chae Min (awesome in Crash Course in Romance).
Almost 1,000 users of IMDB are also rating Bon Appétit, Your Majesty a solid 8.0 out of 10 — again, a high rating from users of that site, which has a tendency to be overrun with trolls when it comes to ratings.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty stars Yoona and Lee Chae Min, alongside Kang Han Na and Choi Gwi Ha.
It also features a superb supporting cast that includes Seo Yi Sook, Oh Eui Shik, Park Young Woon, Yoon Seo Ah, Kim Hyun Mok and Kim Kwang Gyu.
The next episode of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty airs/streams on Saturday, September 6th.
The way it’s performing, my guess is we are likely to see even higher ratings then. (Update: Episode 5 just grabbed its highest Saturday ratings ever nationwide, and its highest ratings ever in Seoul)
