Plot Synopsis

Zhou Xiaofeng (played by Mark Chao) is the deputy chief physician of the cardiology department at Dongli Hospital. Introverted and highly disciplined in both work and life, he is a key member of the cardiology team, a focus of the department’s leadership and a promising candidate for development.

He partners with Lin Yi (Jin Shi Jia), a straightforward and impulsive cardiac surgeon, in the coronary artery team. Their differing medical philosophies lead to significant disagreements. Lin Yi, also a recent hire, previously focused solely on surgery at Xili Hospital, lacks interaction and collaboration with colleagues.

His supervisor and mentor, Cao Nuoya, believes this hinders his growth and recommends him for a position at Dongli Hospital’s newly established heart center.

Zhou Xiaofeng’s younger sister, Fang Xiaoran (Mao Xiao Tong), pursues her dreams and aims to improve her brother’s relationship with their mother, joining Dongli Hospital as a cardiac intensive care unit doctor.

Through their work treating patients, the three initially misunderstanding and antagonistic each other, but eventually develop mutual appreciation and support, becoming excellent working partners.
